None of this is meant to be slutty. I myself got into a period of time, when I thought that when people showed their body's (shirtless, scantily clad, not fully clothed) it was slutty & they we're a whore. That is not always true. It is not about the look; it's how you present the look & the manner that you go about it, carry yourself & present yourself. It's the attitude & real life events that makes you a slut, not what you wear or what you don't wear. A slut is someone who sleeps with numerous people, so just because you aren't fully clothed, doesn't mean you've slept with numerous people. Sometimes you just want to celebrate your body, & your hard work & effort. Or for some, shake whatch mama gave ya, or work with ya parents made & it's ok to do it.
Anyhoo, these pictures are very artistic (Well some, lmao). But, I just am comfortable in my skin right now. I used to be like MORBIDLY Obese (and yes I can admit that now, it's in my past, & i'm not ashamed of it). At that time, I was very confident (At times), then I started to realize how I really looked. & I realized that wasn't me. All though I never lost my talents (Running, Dancing, Flipping, Gymnastics, Swimming, Athleticism); I think I lost that spark inside me, that made me, ME. I had a couple mid life crisis & I decide to myself, "enough is enough" & i'd lose weight.
I went on this long journey to lose weight. All by myself (in some means). I didn't have anyone telling me how to diet. I researched, looked up health facts, read magazines, internet articles, blogs, videos, etc... etc... I started out doing "Walk Away the Pounds" & I lost 40 pounds in about 3-4 months. Btw, @ my most I was 249 lbs. When I started this diet I was 244. My waist line @ that point was a 40. & idk I was just not ME!!
Over time I changed my work outs rapidly. I get bored with things that are too repetitive & I had to spice things up by adding something new & switching things around. In which that is good for a diet, because after your body is used to that particular workout, it's like it mediums your metabolism instead of keeping it at a constant high by doing unexpected workouts at different levels. I did dvd's, i walked, I ran, I jogged, I rode my bike, I danced. There are not particular workout's that you have to do. Just simply MOVE!! GET ACTIVE!! Cardio is the best way thou to lose weight (Running, bike riding, dancing, walking, swimming, etc.) & Aerobics (Stretching, strength training, gymnastics, etc.. etc..).
Anyhoo with all this said, I love my body, I love me & i'm happy to be transitioning back to a comfortable, confident me. Not to say at a certain weight you can't be confident. I will not tell anyone to lose weight, because at your size, it might be great for YOU. But, for me it didn't make me happy, and when everything is said & done; I only get 1 life to live. So, I rather work my ass off to make myself happy, than to be lazy & stay the same.
Lastly, and certainly not least. Losing weight is better kept at a lifestyle, not a diet. True weight lost can only be achieved & "SUSTAINED" as lifestyle. It's a constant journey, not just pick up, go & drop. Diets never last, because it's a struggle of the same thing that may not be good for you for too long. Don't eat below 1500 calories, don't starve yourself, it's ok to eat fatty snacks every so often. But, do it in moderation every blue moon, maybe once a week. If you want to do it, do it for YOU, do it for your HEALTH, do it for your CONFIDENCE, do it simply & once again for YOU.
Now, i'm between 160-170. I really don't know what I weigh. I have got down to about 160 before. I am 5'10 1/2. My Waist line is now 31" my chest is a 35", & etc... etc... lol.
P.S. all these photos we're taking with my phone (T-Mobile MyTouch 3G [Black]) & most of them we're editing on the phone too, some additional editing added with my free windows program Paint.NET & a few Photoshop brushes I converted.
With all that said, let me get to posting these damn pics, lmao:
Yes, I Aspire to be a model some day. No person or person's will change me, I will remain the same.
I may not get paid as much as other model's because of my attitude (not conforming), but I will not let them shape me into Hollywood.
I will have meat on my body, I will eat, & I will enjoy what I do, rather than just do it for the money.
It's a passion, not a day job.
